Knowing a foreign language and using it effectively is not only a linguistic accumulation, but also a behaviour. Therefore, each learnt language makes new contributions to the attitudes and behaviours of the individual and develops him/her.

Considering the fact that the acquisitions acquired during childhood will also have an effect in the later stages of their lives, we see that learning a second language contributes greatly to the cognitive development of the child in many ways.

Motivation and self-confidence are two important factors that directly affect the individual in language learning. At this point, I see that this is a camp that aims to provide a learning environment where the student can feel comfortable, to increase the desire to learn in the student and to purify the fear of making mistakes. This motivation creates many positive effects such as ensuring the permanence of learning, accelerating learning, preventing the process from being seen as a necessity and making this process more enjoyable. Psychologically, I believe that the motivation of the children in the camp is developed in connection with the activities that give them enjoyment in the first stages, and this turns into the pleasure of obtaining information and internalizes it over time.

Children will make great breakthroughs towards effective communication in the foreign language they are in contact with at the end of this camp period, which will be spent with such an education. As a psychological counsellor and family counsellor, I would definitely recommend that children experience this foreign language camp, which turns this process into an enjoyable project that will activate their needs, desires, discoveries and creativity in terms of motivation.
